  • The custom made thermostat kit 
    allows the engine to operate 
    on 80°C as thermostat in previous 
    M60 engine(85°C, 75°C). 
  • The OEM thermostat is operating on 108°C.
  • Better also for oil temperature, durability of plastic 
    parts, safer for overheating, increase of performance,
    NO knocking.
  • Available thermostats to fit to this kit are 80°C and also 75°C and 87°C
  • Thermostat kit has to be used together with M60 thermostat housing cover(OEM NUMBER 11531720173 ), which you have to buy separately. You can also cut of the old thermostat from OEM housing and after no need to buy housing.
  • The kit includes 
    Vernet Carlostat Thermostat 80°C with O ring. On customers requirements available 75°C or 87°C.
  • The kit includes all gaskets needed, new longer bolts and washers. 
  • The kit is secured together by spring roll pins to problem less fitting
The kit contains:
  • 3x thermostat fitting flange made by CNC laser from aircraft alloy.
  • 4x HQ gasket which can be reused many times and still sealing perfect- see video.
  • 2x spring roller pin to hold parts together.
  • 1x Vernet Carlostat Thermostat 80°C.
  • 1x  O ring for thermostat - NBR.
  • 4x New longer bolt - zinc plated.
  • 4x New washers- zinc plated.
  • 1x Printed fitting instructions tips.
